Message from
Tammy Sobieski Owner/CEO
After 25 years, in reproductive health and being
a woman, I know that when women and their families
are faced with a pregnancy and are deciding what
to do, they discuss their feelings, search their
hearts and make a decision. It’s a decision
that no one else can make for you or your family.
Pregnancy and what to do next can be complicated
and complex. It can be messy and confusing. It
can also be clear and simple.
I do know a decision to have an abortion is about
family—about what a family can handle and
afford. It’s a parents listening and understanding
daughter’s dreams and hopes for the future.
It’s about children already born and your
responsibilities to them. It’s about families.
It’s about choice. Your choice to do what
is best for you, not the easiest, but the best
for you, with what you know at this time in your
life.
I trust you and all women to make the best decision
for yourself. Our staff will be there to listen
and care for you.
Tammy Sobieski is a nationally
recognized speaker. She is past President of the
Florida Abortion Council, past board member of
Abortion Care Network, and a 20-year member of
“November Gang” a nationally recognized
think-tank on abortion and reproductive justice.
Our Medical Director has been with WomanCare since
1985, working full-time, specializing in abortion
care. He is a pioneer in “pain management”
techniques. He has lectured on abortion care and
has trained other physicians to provide abortions.
Along with WomanCare, he has been plaintiff in
numerous legal challenges to statewide abortion
restrictions.
