Annual Exams and Pap Smears
WomanCare offers annual (yearly) GYN exams and Pap smears. Most women should have a GYN exam and Pap at least once each year. Prior to seeing the physician, you will have an opportunity to sit with a counselor and discuss any problems or issues you may have. Then you will see the physician, who will perform a breast exam and discuss how and why patients should do their own monthly breast exams. He will also examine the heart, lungs, thyroid gland, and abdomen. He will then perform a Pap smear, which is a test for cancer of the cervix, or a disease that could later become cancer of the cervix. Finally, he performs a pelvic exam, which determines the size and shape of the uterus, tubes, and ovaries. The physician will discuss any abnormal findings, as well as any questions you have about birth control or other issues.

If you live in certain states, you may not have access to the reproductive health services that you need.

WomanCare is glad to assist women traveling from other states or countries.  We have clinics conveniently located near a major airport.

Private Abortions
We understand that for various reasons, some patients prefer a more private experience for their abortion care. We can accommodate this by allowing you to reserve the clinic before or after our regular hours with a dedicated staff to care for you.
